Background

Intent-Based Leadership® (based on former submarine captain L. David Marquet’s (Turn the Ship Around) has been around for more than ten years, and many companies and leaders have already adopted this people-centric approach to leadership. We at Crisp and goAgile, see a big potential for leaders to get together and share their successes and intelligent failures – and maybe even create new relationships.

The challenge

Most leaders today realize that command-and-control is not working. Most empowerment initiatives end up being superficial.

This is where Intent-Based Leadership® comes into play. IBL is a very practical and powerful approach leading to creating an environment where people feel truly empowered.

We have met many leaders who have a positive personal experience with IBL. We have also met several leaders who are struggling to harvest the benefits of IBL. We want to connect these change-makers, to leverage together, build a community, and learn from each other. In this way, we can create an even bigger impact on organizations and communities.
