We will collect, use and store your personal data in a safe and secure way, use it only for the purposes stated, and keep you informed about how we use it.

Privacy Notice

This privacy notice tells you what to expect when goAgile collects personal information about you when you use the goagile.dk website or sign up for our newsletter and/or consulting, courses and events. goAgile is committed to protecting your personal information when you use goAgile services. Whenever you provide such information, we will only use your information in line with all applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your information will be kept in a secure environment and access to it will be restricted according to the ‘need to know’ principle.

Why do we process your personal information?

We process your personal information when it is necessary to do so, both when you are a customer of ours or when you visit our website. This may be when it is necessary for us to fulfill our obligations under management of our agreement as a consultancy and related services. It may also be a necessary registration when you sign up for a course or other event. It can also be in order to meet the obligations we have as a Danish company subject to Danish law.

We make no representation of you and we will not abuse your personal information or disclose them without your consent unless we are required to do so by law.

What information will we collect about you?

When you become a customer with us or enter into any other form of agreement with us, we will process your regular Personal Information for that particular purpose and collect your: Name, Address, Postal Code, City, Mobile Number, Email Address, and Financial Transaction Information for Billing. We may also process your regular Personal Information, for example, if you have a query or contact that precedes your decision to enter into an agreement with us. The legal basis for processing your personal data is Article 6 (1) of the Personal Data Regulation. 1 (b) as processing of your information is necessary for us to comply with our agreement with you or for us to handle inquiries prior to making an agreement to work with us.

If you sign up for a go-home meeting or event, we collect the following general personal information about you: Name, Email Address, Workplace, Title, and Financial Transaction Information for Payment.

We may also process your general Personal Information because we have a legitimate interest in processing the information about you, cf. Article 6 (1) of the Personal Data Regulation 1 (f) unless your right to obtain protection of your own common Personal Information precedes our legitimate interest in processing your information.

The lawful justification for sending marketing communications about goAgile events and services to you is that you have given clear consent for your personal data (your name, email address and language preference) to be used for this specific purpose. You are always in control of your data. You can opt in or out of receiving news from us by clicking ‘Unsubscribe’ at the bottom of our goAgile Information Letter.

In certain cases, we are also legally bound to process Personal Information about you. For example, it may be necessary to document transactions so that they can be traced according to the Accounting Act rules.

goAgile uses Piwik cookies to collect information about how you use goagile.dk via the device(s) that you use to access our website. This includes collecting unique online identifiers such as IP addresses, which are numbers that uniquely identify a specific computer or other network device on the internet. For more information, see our section on ‘Privacy & Cookies’ below.

Who might goAgile share my information with?

We may share your Personal Information with the suppliers and collaborators who assist us, for example, in carrying out your order or assisting us with our certifications, IT operations, hosting, etc. This means that we may share your information with, for example, our course partners, service providers, our technical support and our bank.

In addition to the above, we share your information to the extent required by law, reporting to public authorities such as SKAT, other government bodies and law enforcement agencies.

We do not share personal information with recipients outside the EU/EEA.

How long will goAgile keep my information?

Your personal details for marketing communications are retained as long as you tell us that you no longer wish to receive marketing messages. We will keep this information about you until you tell us otherwise.

If you are a customer with us, we will keep your personal information as long as you are a customer of us and up to 2 years after the customer relationship has ended or as long as we are obliged to comply with the law.

If you are using our website it is possible for us to keep the information we have registered for you for up to 1 year after visiting our website (see section 5.1.4).


We will also keep accounts for five years from the end of the financial year to which the financial statements relate in accordance with the Accounting Act.

What rights do I have over my personal data?

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data by making a subject access request.
  • Rectification, erasure or restriction of your information where this is justified.
  • Object to the processing of your information where this is justified.
  • Data portability.

Privacy & Cookies

We try to avoid cookies and trackers when you visit our website, especially from third parties. For the same reason, you will not find any ‘like’ buttons on our pages.

However, we use some cookies. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer’s hard drive or mobile device when you visit certain web pages. Some of the cookies we use are necessary for some parts of our website to work while other cookies are used so that we can remember your settings when, for example, you go back. We also use cookies to understand how goagile.dk is used which helps us improve your overall online experience.

We do not process user behavior information collected through cookies in a way that can connect the user behavior with specific people. You can set your browser to inform you when you receive a cookie so that you always have the opportunity to decide whether you want to accept it. You can also choose to completely turn off the function. However, if you do, the website will not work optimally. Cookies do not contain Personal Information such as information about your email address, your User ID or other personal information beyond what is stated in this Policy Cookie Information. There is no personal information stored in our cookies and they cannot contain viruses. You can delete or block cookies: http://minecookies.org/cookiehandtering.

We use Piwik cookie to give us insight into how you as a visitor use our site. We do not share this data with anyone and it is used solely for the analysis and operation of the use of our site. As a privacy protection measure, we delete the last half of the IP address before it is stored. This means we collect and store less detailed location data about you.

With an add-on blocker or track tool, such as Ghostery browser extension, you can easily see which cookies and trackers a site uses. In addition, we support “Do Not Track”, http://donottrack.us.

When you sign up to receive newsletters, your email address will be stored with a data processor that helps us send out e-mails, currently we use MailChimp that helps us. We have entered into a data processing agreement with MailChimp, and MailChimp is acting under instructions from us. You can read MailChimp’s privacy policy here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/. You can easily unsubscribe from MailChimp by clicking on unsubscribe. In that case, we will delete your email address.

Our website does not use any ad networks, nor do we collect any Special Categories of Personal Information (sensitive information) about you.

Changes to this privacy notice

We will keep this privacy notice under regular review and we will place any updates here. At the start of this privacy notice, we will tell you when it was last updated.

In addition, the Danish Personal Data Act, which may be adopted and valid after 25 May 2018.
