What does it include
Today’s product managers are expected to drive real outcomes, not just outputs – while juggling customer input, business demands, and team dynamics. And let’s be honest: it’s tough. Too much work, unclear priorities, and endless stakeholder expectations often block progress.
This 3-day course is designed to help you cut through that noise.
You’ll learn how to make better decisions with less stress, align teams without the politics, and uncover what customers really need – even when they struggle to explain it themselves. We’ll cover how to work inside modern product operating models, get faster feedback, and build products that actually make an impact.
The course is inspired by Teresa Torres’ Continuous Discovery Habits and Marty Cagan’s Transformed.
In this course, you’ll learn about Intent-Based Leadership, a leadership paradigm pioneered on a nuclear submarine. With this paradigm, team members come to the leader describing what they see, what they think, and what they intend to do. With Intent-Based Leadership, the culture of the organization shifts from one of permission and waiting, to intent and action. Not only does effectivity increase, people also feel better, are happier and healthier. People implementing Intent-Based Leadership have reported jumps in performance, well-being, and employee satisfaction. This way of leading is the key to successful agile implementations in companies of all sizes.
The course is based on hard science of motivation and offers practical, specific ideas, and Intent-Based Leadership tools and mechanisms.
Participants will learn how to move in an agile way from their existing culture toward one where everyone is a leader, where people take initiative and ownership, and one which frees up critical cognitive space for you.
You’ll learn how to:
Prioritize what matters and say no with confidence
Spot real customer needs (not just what they say)
Align teams without wasting time in meetings
Make better product decisions – even with limited data
Show the impact of your work and gain buy-in
Cut through the clutter of models and processes
Deliver early and often with confidence in your MVPs
Boost team autonomy and flow by reducing complexity
Work with – not against – your stakeholders
